Getting around a large college campus can be tough. While some people choose to walk and leave for class an hour early just to be on time, others choose to bike. Biking on campus poses quite a few challenges, especially when bike lanes are few and far between. When biking on a sidewalk during the campus rush hour, getting caught behind a group of students walking to class can be frustrating. Here are 10 things that people who bike to class want you to know:
1. We aren't trying to hit you.
2. We wish you wouldn't take up the whole sidewalk.

3. If you walk straight, we will go around you.

4. Yes, we will bike in the snow.

5. Try to walk on the right side of the sidewalk.

6. If we hit you, we promise it wasn't intentional
7. Running into you hurts us as much as it hurts you.

8. Just because we can bike across the street before the light turns green, doesn't mean you can walk at the same speed.

9. We will politely bike slowly behind you if we can't get around you, but we won't be happy about it.

10. We want to go fast, that is why we are biking. Don't give us weird looks.
