TV moms are a staple of pop culture. They have been the glue of television families since the beginning of sitcoms. Over the years audiences have been given different types of moms, from Florence Henderson's tender Carol Brady, to Katey Segal's brash Peg Bundy. Moms are staples of a family sitcom. On ABC's "The Goldberg's" matriarch Beverly Goldberg has more than earned her place in the TV Mom Hall of Fame. Known for her smothering ways, high hair, and impressive array of sweaters, "Bev" has had some memorable moments over the past four seasons.

1. Her Sweaters

Bev is a larger than life woman, and her sweaters definietely fit her big personality. FRom sequins, to ribbons, Bev has a sweater for each and every occassion. And each swaeater is more ostentatious than the rest.

2. The Hair

"THe Goldbergs is set during the 1980's, a time where hair was crunchy and big. Bev likes to sport a winged out style that basically takes a whole can of Aquanet to create. Hey, at least the ozone layer is an imaginary concept.

3. Her catchphrases

Bev loves her children, a little too much and she has a varitey of nicknames for them. Schmoopy, Poopy are some of her most frequent terms of endearment. She also likes to call her kids "delicious" and will tell anyone and everyone how delicious they are.

4. Her Determination

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
