Hiring a babysitter can be nerve wracking for a parent. Everyone can agree that a child's well being is priceless. However, let's not forget that their entertainment is important too. A bored child makes for a boring night for everyone. Here are some great ideas to try the next time you're babysitting.

1. Have a water balloon fight outside

2. Find a Pinterest recipe to cook together

3. Teach them how to do something

4. Get into character when you play make believe

5. Learn magic tricks together

6. Build a pillow fort and play games or sleep in it

7. Keep balloons from touching the floor

8. Make cootie catchers and tell each other's fortune

9. Build something out of play dough or blocks

10. Make your own ice cream sundaes

11. Sing kid-friendly karaoke together

12. Go for a walk and pretend to be explorers

13. Make your own T-shirts with puffy paint
