Hiring a babysitter can be nerve wracking for a parent. Everyone can agree that a child's well being is priceless. However, let's not forget that their entertainment is important too. A bored child makes for a boring night for everyone. Here are some great ideas to try the next time you're babysitting.

1. Have a water balloon fight outside

2. Find a Pinterest recipe to cook together

3. Teach them how to do something

4. Get into character when you play make believe

5. Learn magic tricks together

6. Build a pillow fort and play games or sleep in it

7. Keep balloons from touching the floor

8. Make cootie catchers and tell each other's fortune
