A Thank You Letter To My Best Friend

I don't say it enough, so here I go ranting about how amazing you are.

A Thank You Letter To My Best Friend

Sometimes I wonder if you know how much I care about you and our friendship. There is more than what meets the eye, and I don't even know if I can explain it all but I am going to try.

The main point is that I want to say thank you for all of your love and all of your support. I never thought that someone as amazing as you would come into my life the way you did, but I am more than thankful you are here. You know when somethings wrong, you know when I have total excitement about what's to come, you know when I just want to sit and watch the stars. Between the craziness of life we still manage to see each other as much as we can, and I would be lost without those moments in my life. Thank you for understanding my crazy life to the point where we have 5 different conversations going on daily. You may not always know what is going on to a full extend, but you always know what to say. You sometimes know me better than I know myself, and I give you props for that because sometimes I'm hard to figure out.

Thank you for being you. There is so much going on in life right now that sometimes its hard to see what's to come, but I promise that I want to be around for all of it. You've done so much for me, that the least I could do is return the favor, but it isn't just returning a favor; its being a friend to someone I care about so much. I want to remind you that this is a two way relationship and that I don't have any plans of ending it any time soon. You are a huge part of my life, and I'm glad we're doing it together. I couldn't imagine living my daily live with out you in it.

What we have as friends, is something people look for. I know I don't say it as often as I should, but thank you. Thank you for being my friend when I need it the most, thank you for being a support, thank you for being you and thank you for everything else you do to put up with me. I am so thankful for a friend like you, and I hope with everything I am that this friendship lasts a life time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
