The Best and Worst of the 2015 VMA Fashion

Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards were filled with celebrities in bold, sexy, and sparkly looks. Here are a few of the absolute best from the night. (and a few of the worst)

THE BEST OF THE BEST:

TAYLOR SWIFT

Taylor Swift crushed it in Ashish. This metallic sweatsuit of sorts fits the fun, poppy vibe that is expected at the VMAs.


GIGI HADID

I love that Gigi brought some bold color to the VMA carpet. She's wearing a young designer from England named Emilia Wickstead, with Giuseppe Zanotti heels.


CHRISSY TEIGEN

Chrissy is working it in this gorgeous Marchesa gown. It is elegant, but still fun. What really completes the look is the emerald green accents with her rings, earrings, and bangles.

HAILEE STEINFELD

Yes, the necklace is a bit much and it does not look like she can move her arms much, but I overall really love Hailee in this look by Stella McCartney with Charlotte Olympia heels.


DEMI LOVATO

Demi Lovato is crushing the game right now! This Nicolas Jebran look is no exception.

LILY ALDRIDGE

Lily is stunning in this Alexandre Vauthier gown! It is fun, effortless, and sexy.


NICKI MINAJ

Nicki looks so elegant in this dress by Labourjoisie. She looks like an Egyptian goddess.

THE WORST OF THE WORST:

(Note: I am all for people feeling confident, and if these ladies felt good in these outfits, that is all that matters.)

Kelly Osbourne

Sorry, Kelly. This is not your best look!


Kim Kardashian

I have so much love for Kim, but this look is not her best. She has rocked some fabulous outfits while she has been preggo, and I believe she could have done a lot better than this Balmain dress. (Hair and makeup is flawless, though...AS PER USUAL)

Kylie Jenner

Kylie is a style icon, but this Balmain look is not one of her best. I think it would have been a lot better if she did not have that crazy wig on.

(I'm just going to leave this here.)

Serayah McNeill

I am all for the fringe/ripped trend, but this looks like Serayah got a pretty white dress and put it in the paper shredder. I do like her shoes and makeup, though!

Miley Cyrus

Last but not least (or maybe it is least), the VMA host, Miley Cyrus, wore this terrible M&M/Mentos looking dress. No, Miley. Stop. I'll admit that she had some decent looks on Sunday night, but this one has got to go!
