1. How To Get Away With Murder
Starting its second season on the air, this show is everything in the category of drama and suspense, surrounding a group of law students and their professor in their involvement in an ongoing murder case. The name practically says it all! If you like to stay hooked, this show is a plot twist every minute, and it is good. The show also stars Viola Davis, first time black female Emmy award winner.
2. Empire
Another show that brings out diversity and stances previously omitted from television networks, Empire is a musical drama centered on hip hop music and a family's fight over a multi-million dollar entertainment company. The drama is never ending, and there's always a lot of tension. Many guest stars including Chris Rock and Jennifer Hudson have made appearances.
3. Supernatural
Now at its 11th season, Supernatural is a natural series hit on the CW. It's the story of two brothers and their lives as supernatural hunters, fighting demons, vampires, ghouls, windagos, and much more. While it may seem cliche and teenage era, the show has very realistic and believable special effects.
4. Scandal
Olivia Pope, the woman everyone wants to be. Another suspenseful drama, the show focuses on a crisis management lawyer having an affair with the President. She and the people she is surrounded by, cannot seem to clean up their messes as well as they clean up others'. Its been named as one of THE political thrillers to watch.
