The "Despacito" remix with Justin Bieber of the Latin hit originally by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee is everywhere. At any given moment, you can change one radio station to the next and there is a huge chance that you'll hear "DES-PAA-CITO" to follow. Don't get me wrong, the song is super duper catchy, and I definitely jam to that beat when it's on. However, the lyrics are extremely sexist and cringe-worthy. As a Hispanic person, I would like to show the world that there is simply so much more to Spanish music than raunchy reggaeton tunes.
