Once you get to college, meeting new people is essential. How else are you going to make friends? A great way to find common ground is through music. Here's an awesome playlist to listen to when you're all playing card games together in the student center or hanging out in someone's dorm room.
1) "Nobody's Perfect" from Hannah Montana
Jamming out to this song together will be such a nice reminder that these people have had the same childhood as you.
2) "Ways To Be Wicked" from Descendants 2
A new squad bop to let out your inner villain. You can also reveal which character you are most like.
3) "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC
We know how this song goes even though we were all babies when it came out.
4) "All Star" by Smash Mouth
This song has spawned some sick remixes that you can look up when you're done listening to this one. It also brings up "Shrek" memories.
5) "We're All In This Together" from High School Musical
Here's another childhood favorite. Who wouldn't want to burst into the full song and dance number when this song comes on?
6) "Sorry Not Sorry" by Demi Lovato
Its sass has made it the song of the summer. You all can musically flip off anyone who's wronged you.
7) "This is Me" from Camp Rock
Another Demi one! Everyone will want to belt it out like her character did at the end of Final Jam.
8) "What's My Name" from Descendants 2
Because China Anne McClain is the queen. This is also a good segue into which, if any, Descendants movies people have seen.
9) "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton
The classic song to bring people together. You and your new crew will have a "White Chicks" singing in the car moment.
10) "Look What You Made Me Do" by Taylor Swift
Its music video will allow you to marvel at and discuss all the little references together. Is the diamond bath a diss towards Kim Kardashian? Was the car crash scene meant to bash Katy Perry? The possibilities are endless.
These songs are sure to bring camradeire to you and your new crew. How did you connect with your college friends? Are there any songs you think I've missed? Be sure to let me know.
