The cuffing season can be annoying... but only if you let it be! There is no shame in being single; the world is your oyster. You can do anything you want and be whoever you want to be. Besides, couples are annoying anyway. Here are some single girl activities that you can and should be treating yourself to this fall.

1. Get outdoors.

Whether you're going on an ambitious hike in a color changing forest or out on a stroll through your neighborhood, make sure you take the time to get outside. You never know who you may meet along the way!

2. Grab an autumn spiced beverage from your favorite cafe.

What's better than sipping on some warm apple cider or a pumpkin spiced latte? There's no better way to get some work done or catch up on a book you've been meaning to finish.

3. Carve a groovy jack-o-lantern!

This one might be more fun if you get a group of friends together. Carving pumpkins is always a creative process, especially if you have a fall themed party where the event is taking place. To amp up your Insta-game, you might as well carve a few kinds of melon- or even pineapple! #winning

4. Hit up your favorite stores and do some fall shopping.

Let's be real here. You deserve it! Don't doubt yourself, treat yo self to those cute fall boots or flannel to revamp your style.

5. Visit a haunted house.

Visiting a haunted house with some friends is a great way to bond with your current friends, old friends, and maybe even meet some new friends along the way!

6. Head to a bookstore and buy a journal.

Fall weather calls for a cozy sweater, hot cocoa, and an amazing read. Let the autumn vibes inspire your creative juices, get busy!

7. Volunteer.

Volunteering is the perfect time to interact with new people, help those in need and reflect on yourself. Whether you're walking dogs at a Rescue Shelter or gardening for a community garden, contributing to improve the lives of others is always an impactful and often meaningful event for yourself.

8. Have a girls' night out.

We all know how these types of nights are. Binge watching, endless laughs, amazing eats and most importantly- amazing conversations that you and your besties will remember forever.

9. Chef it up or bake!

So many recipes, so little time. Choose a few recipes to try out and of course, you can include any of your friends in this one. You know Insta pics of both the food and the pics while you're cooking will be super cute.

10. Attend a seminar.

Now is the time to focus on you. Sign up for a class for something that you really want to learn.

11. Take a nap.

There's nothing better than taking a cozy nap on a brisk fall day. We all know that feeling of waking up feeling refreshed and ready to conquer anything you put your mind to.

12. Visit a new Restaurant... or two!

Who knows, maybe your future significant other will be there going as a single too!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
