Netflix is basically the gift to our generation. I'm not sure what any of us do without the ability to watch almost any show or movie at the click of a button, and the ever important "Netflix and chill" I know that I would be pretty lost without the comfort of Netflix in my bed every weekend. The most crucial thing that Netflix brings to the table, though, is the ability to binge watch, or watch an entire season of a show in the span of two days. Some are better bingers than others, but I'm pretty confident that no one would turn down a few days spent becoming emotionally invested in one of the shows Netflix has to offer. If you haven't already, check out these hilarious shows that are easy to watch in no time-take it from me, I've binge-watched all of them!
1. New Girl
New Girl is one of the only shows that can literally make me laugh out loud. The quirky characters always get into something crazy and you can't help but laugh at the ridiculous things that happen to Jess and the guys. With every episode full of funny lines and relatable stories, it's pretty easy to fly through its four seasons.
2. The Office
Embarking on the journey of watching The Office is a little more difficult because it has nine seasons, but it is totally worth it. I, like many, have laughed and cried at one too many episodes of Dwight's insanity and Jim and Pam's love. I'm too embarrassed to disclose how long it took me to finish this show, but let's just say I was watching minimum five episodes a day. You can never get enough Michael Scott.
3. Young and Hungry
My friends and I loved to fly through episodes of Young and Hungry during a rainy day at school, and you will too. This show about a girl who is the personal chef of a millionaire is light-hearted and funny, making viewers susceptible to "accidentally" watch an entire season in a few short days.
4. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Created by Netflix, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a show about a girl who was held hostage by a crazy reverend who is now struggling to adapt to real life NYC. While Unbreakable only has two seasons, it's the best show to watch with friends because it's impossible not to laugh at. Kimmy, Titus, and Lillian will keep you laughing through all 28 episodes, and leave you waiting for Netflix's release of season three.
5. Orange is the New Black
Another Netflix original, OITNB has been a staple show to binge-watch for many Netflix lovers. It's funny but also complicated, and you easily get invested in the lives of all of the lovable prisoners at fictional Lichfield Prison. Now is the perfect time to binge-watch this as we all anxiously await the arrival of season four.
