1. Getting jumped on by your fuzzy best friend

The first thing any dog lover thinks of when they walk into their house coming home from winter break is the initial feeling of their fuzzy friend jumping on them as if nothing else mattered in the world.

2. Being reunited with your friends

You just saw them for Thanksgiving, but you still have been apart for at least three weeks, most likely more, you just can't wait to hug your squad right away and be hanging out all together again as if nothing has changed.

3. Going back to your favorite food places in your hometown

Nothing beats meeting your friends at your favorite lunch or dinner restaurant in town and enjoying your favorite meal on earth, and it's just that much better after not having it for four months.

4. Pampering yourself

Letting your hair grow out till it is as dead as it can be, and biting your cuticles over every exam, its time to treat yo self.

5. Getting to drive yourself around

As a freshman in college we don't need our cars, but coming home to them and being able to take yourself wherever you want whenever you want rather than calling Susan from Uber to pick you up, it really just gives you a rush!

6. Not feeling stressed over school work

Us college students never get a break, our lives are wake up, go to class, come home do work, study, and do it all again. The idea of not thinking of any type of work for however long you have off is definitely a relief

7. Diving into your bed as if you never left

That first slip into your bed is one of the best feelings in the world. You have been anticipating for that feeling of jumping into your happy place, and now its here! *Goodnight world*

8. HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!:)

Whether you celebrate Christmas, or Hanukah, Or both! Getting in the Holiday Spirit makes everyones winter break more enjoyable and even a little more exciting too.

All of these aspects of home life are missed every day while living away from home, but at the end of the day, all of us just want to be back in college, hanging out with our friends and not sitting alone in our beds watching Netflix for five hours at a time.
