College is the best 4 years of your life. Not only do you gain independence but you also get a small glimpse into the real word. But before you focus on the real world aspect lets take a look at what college has to offer you. Besides education there are a bunch of little perks that come with enrollment. Shall we take a look?
1. No Curfew
We have all walked into our house an hour past curfew to our mom sitting on the couch waiting for us to come home. But not anymore! In college you make your own bedtime.
2. Free T-Shirts
T-Shirt for homecoming, T-Shirt for volunteer work, T-Shirt for just showing up to something. By the end of the semester you'll have an entire new wardrobe of T-Shirts.
3. Free Food
College kids are savages, and cheap savages at that. So if you keep up with what's going on your campus you will see a lot of events with food provided.
4. Friends 24/7

There is a campus full of potential friends. Once you make those friends you have access to them at all hours. You'll always have someone to accompany you on late night adventures!
5. Free Gym
Honestly, the only excuse for the freshman 15 is a broken leg. With a free gym open sometimes 24 hours a day, there is no excuse to gain that extra poundage. Not only is the gym free, the classes they offer are also free. Take this opportunity to try out something new like Zumba, pilates, or indoor cycling.
6. Wi-Fi Everywhere
You will find yourself on a grassy area on campus still connected to the same wi-fi you're connected to in your dorm room. It's crazy how that works but its just some kind of college voodoo.
7. Non-Mandatory Classes
If you don't want to show up you don't have to. Don't take that the wrong way, everyone should still go to class. Sometimes attendance doesn't count towards your grade so you can afford skipping 2-3 times a semester. Consider those your mental health days.
8. Teachers Who Drop The Lowest Test Score
These teachers are the Gods of campus. They acknowledge that sometimes you mess up and didn't prepare for the test. They are willing to take away your lowest test score so it doesn't tank your grade. Not the hero we thought we needed but the hero we really needed all along.
9. Making Your Own Schedule
The reason making your own schedule is great is that you can plan it how you want it. Not a morning person? No problem you don't have to take an 8:30. Start your day whenever you want, you make the rules now
10. On Campus Jobs
There are a ton of jobs on your campus that you can apply for. The benefit is that in most cases you get the weekends off. Not to mention your coworkers will become your best friends.
