11 Songs To Start You Off On The Right Side Of The Bed Every Morning

Get groovin' even when you'd rather be snoozin'.

Mornings are hard. I am not a morning person in the slightest and I hate when the alarm goes off and you realize you have to get out of bed and you can't hide under the covers. I long for the days of summer when I could sleep in and had no responsibilities. That's when this "Get Pumped" playlist comes into play. You got to start it every morning and just push through! Here are my top get-going songs:

1. "Beautiful Soul" by Jesse McCartney

If this throwback doesn't make you smile are you even alive???

2. "The Last of The Real Ones" by Fall Out Boy

Everyone needs that head banging song and this one gets me every time

3. "Everybody (Rock Your Body)" by Backstreet Boys

"Backstreet's Back alright!" another oldie but goldie and just it's a jam, trust me.

4. "Born to Be Yours" by Kygo and Imagine Dragons

I love this song and it's a new, definite jam. 10/10 recommend.

5. "No Brainer" by DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Quavo

This is a new song but I'm a long time Belieber and I really, really thoroughly enjoy this song.

6. "Your Love is My Drug" by Kesha

Sometimes you just need an old bop to get you out of bed in the morning. And this song does it for me.

7. "Body" (feat. Brando) by Loud Luxury

This is my car jam. I love this song and it's simple and catchy and just a bop

8. "Chasing Fire" by Lauv

The love I have for Lauv is unhealthy. Like his voice and just ahhh his whole album is amazing, but this song is just a good one to turn to for some upbeatness on those hard Monday mornings.

9. "High Hopes" by Panic! At the Disco

Any song by Panic! At the Disco is probably a pretty good get pumped song but this one from his new album is a definite fav of mine and for sure a good jam.

10. "Solo" by Clean Bandit feat Demi Lovato

This is your basic bop but I'm a big fan and my girl Demi is on it so I 10/10 recommend. It's a fun one

11. "Don’t Stop Believing" by Journey

I have a theory that whether it's a party that seems a little lame, a massive concert, a workout class, literally ANY situation you're in—this song will immediately amp it up. Almost everyone knows this song. It's unifying, it's the ultimate classic, and if it doesn't have you feeling like you can face the week ahead, you might be hopeless. ;)

These are just a few of my favorites! I hope y'all try them out and like them as much as I do! And just know that it's okay to not like the mornings, we all have to push through it, but you can do it! The Lord is your strength and he is enough!! Push through and jam hard!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
