Take Some Views On The Lyrics In "Views"
Rolling Stone Magazine

If you know me, you know Drake is my entire world. So much so, that I have a tattoo of his "6 God" album (dedication right there). Half of my tweets have some relation to Drake, and I will spend hours listening to his songs.

So when his new album came out "Views," you know I was on my computer right away, typing away at my favorite lyrics. As any Drake song or album goes, he'll get you in your feelings in every way. So I present to you, the lyrics from his new album that I believe connect most to my life and hopefully yours as well!

1. "Keep the Family Close"

"You're supposed to put your pride aside and ride for me. Guess it wasn't time. And of course, you went and chose a side that wasn't mine."

Of course, he's got us in our feelings. Always willing to do more for someone, than they'd do for us.

2. "U With Me"

"We was still a secret, couldn't come in through the front. Girl, I had your back, when all you used to do was front"

He's throwing shade here. A lot of girls (and boys) can relate to this one, though. We've all been through those f*** boys who made us go through the back door to keep us a secret. Once again, we are in the feelings everyone!

3. "Feel No Ways"

"I had to let go of us, to show myself what I could do"

Everyone's been there, Drake. Everyone has.

4. "Hype"

"Me, I'm just done, done, done, done, done"

Honestly, same.

5. "Hype" (again)

"My enemies wanna be friends with my other enemies, I don't let it get to me"

Haters gonna hate y'all. Be like Drake. Don't let them get you down.

6. "Weston Road Flows"

"Back when we couldn't buy pizza, cause we were down to pennies"

This was me yesterday Drake, but glad we could connect on this level.

7. "Weston Road Flows" (once more)

"You treat me like I'm born yesterday, you forgot my birthday"

Yeah Mom, and everyone else that is over the age of 24

8. "Redemption"

"Certain people need to tell me they're proud of me. That mean a lot to me. Not havin' closure, it take a lot out of me"

Seriously, though. If some people don't tell me that they approve of what I am doing, or won't say they are proud of me, I can't function doing it anymore. Also, people need to start learning how to give closure to one another. It sucks not having it, especially when you need it most.

9. "Down With You"

Mixing Vodka and emotions, tapping into your emotions

All been there. Done that. Late at night. I honestly think the only reason I have done this, is because of you Drake, so thanks.

10. "Hotline Bling"

"You should be yourself. Right now you're someone else."

This is just a deep one. Be yourself!

11. "One Dance"

"I pray to make it back in one piece, I pray, I pray."

Every. Single. Weekend.

12. "Too Good"

"I don't know how to talk to you, I just know I found myself getting lost with you. Lately you just make me work too hard for you"

This one is my favorite song of the album. I connect way too much with this specific lyric.

13. "Too Good" (another one)

"You take my love for granted, I just don't understand it. No, I'm too good for you"

Same as the one above. But Drake and Rihanna said it best -- I'm too good for you boy! Bye!

14. "Child's Play"

"WHY YOU GOTTA FIGHT WITH ME AT CHEESECAKE? YOU KNOW I LOVE TO GO THERE. SAY I'M ACTING LIGHTSKIN. I CANT TAKE YOU NOWHERE. THIS A PLACE FOR FAMILIES, THAT DRIVE CAMRYS AND GO TO DISNEY!"

This is the best Drake lyric I have ever heard. Honestly, who can't connect to this one?

If you have not downloaded and listened to 'Views' yet, I hope this convinced you to finally make one of the best decisions of your life.

Love you, Drake.

"Love you too Sophia"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
