Summer is upon us and I know that when I think of summer I think of bright colors. Color is such an easy thing to incorporate into your daily life and even though I'm that girl who owns about every clothing item in black, just seeing color can brighten my day and attitude. Whether you incorporate small amounts of color by having a bright phone case or shoes; or you go all out and bravely rock that head to toe coral outfit using color is a great way to brighten you day and those around you as well. Below are some popular colors for summer 2016 that you can try out in a phone case, flip flops, or anything for that matter.
1. Pink
While pink is not my favorite color it is extremley popular and almost any item can be found in various shades of pink. A nice rosy pink can be perfect if your trying to look put togther but fun at the same time.
2. Blue
A classic blue is many people's favorite color. Turquoise is a shade I tend to favor in the summertime because it can set off a tan perfectly, check out a flowy summer dress to showcase that tan you've been working on all summer.
3. Yellow
When I think of color I think of yellow, it's such a cheery color and depending on the shade you choose it will make you look happy even when you aren't.
4. Red
While red might not be the first thing people gravitate to when thinking of color it still should be a contender. Pink is in the same color family, however, choosing a bright red pop of color can set you apart from others. Try using it in small doses at first if you're nervous about looking like a tomato.
5. Green
Green is another great bright color to incorporate during the summer. Try fun green shoes to draw others eyes or channel nature and choose a green leaf print to wear.
6. Gold
Gold can go with almost anything and it a great choice when thinking of accessories. This is a great choice if you have warmer undertones or if you gravitate towards warmer colors.
7. Silver
The opposite end of the spectrum, silver is a cool and modern choice to wear or accessorize with. If your into cooler colors this is a great choice to add a bit more to you outfit. While some might stay in the same color families with gold being more warm and silver more cool, I love the look of mixed metals and it's a great way to tie any colors together.
