Best College Spring Break Destinations

Spring break is coming up, so automatically that means it's time for every girl to whip out her bikini and try and change her skin tone from pale white to dark caramel. After sitting in this dreadful winter for far too long, spring break is all anyone can seem to talk about. Whether it be the destination they're going to, what they're going to do or the dreamy college party goers they hope to run into. Although spring break can literally break your bank account, it's the one college experience everyone has to have. And here's why.

#1 Cancun

People go to Cancun for all types of reasons. Number one is probably because it's so popular for spring break. Not only do you get the scorching sun on you for an entire week, you get some of the warmest weather out there. Cancun is one of the cheapest places to go for spring break, making it affordable for anyone. And not to mention, it's gorgeous. If the time comes when you and your friends need to step away from the beach, grab some snorkel gear and head to the beach. Cancun is worldly known for it's amazing sights under water. But when it comes for fun, you can never miss it with the club Coco Bongo or The City. Just look up pictures for yourself, and that's all you will need.

#2 Puerto Vallarta

Known as a coastal getaway, Puerto Vallarta is a little calmer than Cancun but is almost the perfect place for spring break. Even though it's located in a smaller location, Puerto Vallarta still has the sun, gorgeous beaches and amazing places to stay and eat while there. Here, if you're looking to take a break away from the madness hop on a zip line tour that you are sure to never forget. There's no better way to see the tropical side of this amazing city. But if you're looking to wrap up your trip with best night ever, try the biggest club in town, Vallartacrawl. Known for it's crazy atmosphere and off the wall interior, this place is a must see.

#3 Panama City Beach

If you're looking for the essence of spring break, then you've found it. PCB has crazy day parties, warm weather, long beaches and that Florida ocean. Becoming one of the largest spring break spots there is, it's also affordable making it even better. While here, you might as well go to the biggest night club in the US, Club La Vela. And trust me, you've never seen anything like it. But at the center of this city is Pier Park that stretches on and on. You can find just about anything here from shopping to amazing little hubs to sit down and eat.

#4 South Padre Island

Today, college kids head to South Padre. For starters, it cheap almost too cheap for a week of non stop fun. Padre is known for it's long sandy beaches, and a ton of funky bars that will grab almost anyone's attention. Although the drive might just be the worst part, everyone will remember their time on this island. Kite boarding, boat tours Schlitterbanh Beach Park will be plenty enough for you to do while in Padre. But if not, get yourself to the biggest beach bar in Texas, Clayton's.

#5 Las Vegas

Last, but certainly not least in anyway we have Las Vegas. Everyone in today's world has Las Vegas on their bucket list so why not go for spring break. Casinos, clubs, restaurants, outdoor pools and swim up bars. If you decide to take the plunge to Las Vegas, make sure to stay at the infamous Hard Rock Hotel. But if you're going to gamble anywhere, go no other place than Caesar's Palace, you can't get more cliche than this. And the best way to see all of Sin City? Hop on the roller coaster on top of Stratosphere Tower and prepare to be amazed. What more could anyone ask for?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
