There are so many foundations to choose from, but how do you know which foundation might be right for your skin? Here are 10 of my favorite foundations that you should definitely try! Please remember that everyone is beautiful without makeup and you shouldn't feel like you have to use makeup because everyone else is putting it on. Be original and be YOU!
1. L’Oreal Paris 24 Hour Infallible Total Cover
I SWEAR by this foundation. If you're a full coverage girl like me, then this is the foundation for you. It provides a gorgeous matte finish that will fix any imperfections that you may have. I haven't worn the foundation for a full 24 hours. However, I have worn the foundation on my face for over 12 hours and it stayed perfectly in place. This drug store foundation retails for only $11 but provides coverage similar to a high-end foundation. You will not be disappointed with this product. This foundation for me is a 10/10.
2. Urban Decay All Nighter
When this foundation first came out, it was all the rage. The All Nighter foundation provides full coverage with a matte finish. Be careful when picking your shade because the foundation does oxidize. You don't even need to wear powder with this foundation because it has a great finish. I would rate this product a 7/10.
3. Make Up For ever Ultra HD Stick Foundation
This foundation is also very popular. While I haven't tried this in liquid form, the stick foundation is great for me. It's so easy to apply and even easier to blend. This foundation provides a full coverage finish which will be perfect to wear for big events. I did notice that when I wore the foundation for a long period of time, the foundation would fade around my nose. This foundation also creases so make sure you put on a setting powder after. I would give this foundation a 7/10.
4. Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless
I bought this foundation before I traveled to India and this foundation did not disappoint me at all during my trip! If this foundation could withstand the heat in India then believe me when I say that this foundation can survive ANYTHING. It provides the perfect finish and works as an everyday foundation. It has buildable coverage but will look amazing once it's set with powder. I found that this foundation works better with a beauty blender rather than a brush! This foundation is a 9/10 for me.
5. Maybelline Fit Me! Dewy + Smooth
If you prefer a more dewy finish rather than a matte finish, then this foundation is for you. It has the same results as the Matte + Poreless foundation but provides a different finish. When you apply dewy foundations, be careful when you apply highlighter because you don't want your skin to look too oily especially when taking pictures. This foundation is a 7/10 for me because I prefer a more matte finish.
6. Loreal True Match Super Blendable
This was my first ever foundation and I loved it! This foundation is super affordable and works as an everyday foundation for people who prefer a medium coverage. I did find that this foundation provided a yellow finish but I still loved it nonetheless. It feels like you have nothing on your skin but looks beautiful in pictures! I would give this foundation a 7/10.
7. Revlon Colorstay
This was also one of the first foundations I used and applied great! This foundation does crease and becomes dry quickly so be sure to apply it quickly. I would recommend using this foundation when you don't have a long day as it can wear off quickly. For me, the color matched exactly and I loved it! I would give this foundation a 6/10.
8. Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Powder
This powder works great as a finished powder or alone as a foundation. It also provides great coverage so you won't be disappointed! The foundation also comes with an applicator, but I used another makeup brush to apply it instead. I would give this product a 7/10.
9. NYX #NoFilter Powder
This is hands down one of my all-time favorite powders. It provides a great finish and covers any imperfections such as large pores and completely smoothes your skin for a flawless coverage. Sometimes I use this powder to cover any dark circles under my eyes and it works perfectly! This powder is full coverage so I usually use this powder for any big events. I would give this product a 9/10.
10. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation Fit Me! Liquid Glow
This foundation is similar to the 24 hours Infallible Total Cover Foundation but provides a more dewy finish. I'll use this foundation in the winter when my skin is dry and I want a little bit more moisture in my foundation. It also provides great coverage and stays put on the face all day. If you have more oily skin, I wouldn't use this foundation as it can make you look more oily because of the finish it provides. I would give this foundation a 9/10.
