Ever feel like you’re literally a mother? There’s always that one friend that can relate…
- Your “children” rely on you for everything
- It doesn’t matter what it is. Your counted on for advice on boys, outfits and asked how to do laundry… Sometimes you don’t know the answers to the questions yourself, but hey, you fake it ‘til you make it...right?
2. Things that shouldn’t be your responsibility, ARE 100% YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
- And let’s be honest, you love being in charge, but can’t anyone else dial a damn phone number to call the taxi or text that girl asking where the party is?
3.You are expected to know what to do in every situation
- Get a weird text from a random guy? You’re on it. Need directions? Whip out that GPS. Sick? I got DayQuil, Tums and Advil, what’s the issue?
4. If one of your “children” can’t get to their phones, you are automatically in charge of keeping their snapchat streaks
- I can’t tell you how often I get the text, “can you do my streaks for me?” And then making sure that you send it to EVERY person they have a streak with… Because every streak is precious.
5. You’re always the one to say stop drinking
- Because you know if they don’t stop you’re going to be the one cleaning up after them later… Which also has become one of your least favorable jobs.
6. You can basically read your “children’s” minds
- You know exactly what’s wrong before they even have to tell you and they know that you will do whatever you possibly can to make them feel better.
7. You are always prepared
- You got extras of everything. Phone chargers, sweatshirts, food, you name it, I got it.
8. Your “children” get nervous when you don’t go out
- They will say, “who will stay with me?” or “don’t leave me.” And after they guilt you into going out, you start to feel bad that you’re leaving them so... you go out.
9. Sometimes being a “mom” is stressful
