The fall season is officially upon us which means trips to the apple orchard, PSL's, and of course, the cinematic excellence that is Halloween movies. Personally, I think that Halloween movies are the best type of holiday movie and I look forward to watching "Halloweentown", "Scream", "Hocus Pocus", and "Mom's Got a Date With A Vampire" every single year.

That being said, fall also means back-to-school and if you're anything like me, there is nothing worse than waking up early to go to class. I'm the farthest thing from a morning person, so here are some thoughts I have every time my alarm goes off as told by Hocus Pocus.

1. When your alarm goes off and pulls you out of that glorious dream.

2. When you've spent too long laying in bed scrolling through social media and have to actually start moving.

3. When you finally get up and open the blinds and take in the day.

4. When someone tries to talk to you before your coffee and they can't tell you want nothing to do with small talk about the weather.

5. When someone notices you're in a bad mood and tries to help. They never help.

6. When someone says, "wow you look tired today!"

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
