You know you're a Kingsway Dragon when...

1. You either got away without the S.M.A.R.T. schedule, or just started it. It's a love/hate sort of thing.

Never be late to 6th bell...

2. Barchuk was one of your coaches or gym teacher, and if he wasn't, you still knew of the legend.

3. You were involved in a club, theatre/music, sports, a mix of everything, or nothing.

There was something for everyone. The arts department performed wonderful shows, the athletics were some of the best in the state, and there were so many clubs that did good.

4. Battle of the Bands is a new tradition that is awesome.

Thanks to a fellow student, a great tradition was born and has helped raise money while showing off Kingsway talent.

5. Mr. Kingsway will always be one of your favorite events of the year.

The skits, outfits, and 'If I were not at Kingsway' responses are always something to look forward to.

6. Homecoming pep rally and spirit week is the biggest battle between all of the classes.

But we know the seniors always win the treasured Dragon tail.

7. The normal hangout spot after dances, school events, and basically everything is the Swedesboro Diner.

The best diner food you can get in the area.

8. The amazing teachers and administration are always there for you.

There had to be at least one teacher you could always count on. I have a handful of my own that I knew I could always count on.

9. Football games and other sporting events were a pretty big deal.

Friday night lights are always a great time with friends.

10. D. D-R. D-R-A. D-R-A-G-O-N-S DRAGONS DRAGONS ARE THE BEST!!

This chant that is yelled out at every sport event, class meeting, and graduation will NEVER leave your memory.

Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon...

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
