As a huge fan of the television series Grey's Anatomy, I have done quite a bit of research on different aspects of the series. Anywhere ranging to looking up interesting facts about the series as a whole, all the way to discovering new information about cast and crew members.... I've done it all!

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to find "Behind the Scenes" features. So deleted scenes, bloopers, and even random interviews are my total favorite. However, a new favorite of mine has been found, and that's behind the scenes photos. Being a photographer myself, I have a high standard for loving photos and these photos are doing just the trick. These photos are not just captured by any photographer; they are captured by Jerrika Hinton. Jerrika Hinton plays Dr. Stephanie Edwards, a surgical resident of Grey Sloan Memorial Hopsital. Because of this occupation, Hinton understands her coworkers and the situations surrounding the photos and knows how to showcase them in marvelous ways. Here is a couple of my personal favorites of photos and back stories from Behind the Lens of Grey's Anatomy.

Jesse Williams and Barbara Montgomery sharing a laugh after rehearsing a scene.

In preparation of the #Omelia wedding, Dr. Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), and Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) take a moment to breathe before walking down the aisle. Hinton says about each actress featured, "I'm framing this for them. It's just a perfect moment. Each woman perfectly embodies her respective character.

Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) share a moment in the opening scene of Season 12's Season Finale. Hinton remarks "Ellen's got such great eyes. Classic Grey's scene here. How many times do we see our folks chilling in soggy Seattle grass? I love it. The gods loved us on the day we shot this–the sky was beautifully overcast and brought the perfect amount of ominous grey to Ellen's ominous Grey."

Hinton captured this sweet moment perfectly and states "First off, that baby is the most adorable, precious little thing in this entire episode. Second, she was so chill. Set babies can be a bit of a toss up–some never settle down, so you need another on standby, and others, like her, are cool as cucumbers. It's almost as if she knew the circumstances that brought her character into the world and, like a trained actor, made a distinctive choice that she'd live the opposite.

Kevin McKidd finds his light as the director of Season 12's premiere.

Regarding this photo Hinton remarks, "I remember on that day, the young boy [who plays Pompeo's son] would not stop crying. Everybody—from the kid's actual parents to Shonda [Rhimes] to one of the on-set nannies—did everything they could to try to calm him down. This is between shots and Ellen had to act as Mommy to get the kids to calm down."

This photo is entitled "Dr. Amelia Shepherd Falls Off the Wagon". Capturing this caliber of emotion is such a riveting talent Hinton possesses through each of her photographs.

Surprisingly, my personal favorite of all the photos I've seen is not of a main actress. Heather Matarazzo, playing a patient at Grey Sloan Memorial, is stealing my heart by being featured in the top featured behind the scenes photos. Hinton writes "Heather [Matarazzo] is a magnificent person. We met during that episode and we've since become really great friends. She has this really wonderful, magnetic stillness and such a strong presence as a human being and as an actor. I loved watching the moments before they yelled 'Action!' and watching her settle into the reality of the character's situation."

These are only a few of the incredible photos captured by Jerrika Hinton. If you'd like to see more of her photography work and more Behind the Scenes photos, check out her interviews with Elle Magazine featuring photos of Season 12's premiere and finale episode, her Instagram account, and her personal photography website.

As regarding a book featuring her amazing photography? All I could get was a like of a tweet from Miss Hinton herself.

So maybe there will be a compilation of photos out someday! But as of right now, we will continue to follow Jerrika Hinton and her photography ventures on social media.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
