Coming in last semester experiencing college for the first time, I wondered if the crazy I’ve heard is really true or not. I was so curious of what was going to happen that I haven't heard about. Over the sixteen weeks of last semester and the two weeks from this semester, I've concluded some key ideas about college. There is so much that can be mentioned but these are first things that come to mind.
The food at the dining hall is absolutely terrible about 85 percent of time and your better off spending money and ordering in.
Ramen, Easy Mac, and popcorn has become my basic diet.
Even working during college and having a source of income, I still find myself broke.
Frat parties are so packed to the point you can’t move and the only way to get through the crowd is shimmy and dance your way through.
Frat parties also have tons weirdos that will dance awkwardly and watch you until they feel it is the right time to strike.
Naps become apart of your daily routine.
People who truly love their alcohol will drink on a Monday or Tuesday night, or even during the day.
There still is circulating petty drama and a ton of queens bees, so don’t expect it to disappear when you come to college.
Tinder is like a box chocolates.
Yik Yak consist of venting, questions, and horny people.
There is not enough time in the day to be productive, but enough time for Netflix, naps, and anything else to procrastinate.
You'll find people in relationship and watch them be happy making you realize you're forever alone and don't care.
Then you realize you're tired of the players and hate not having someone meaningful.
Lastly, even though you want to party, hang out with friends, or do whatever else, you're here to grow up and get grades, don't put your self in debt for something you could've done at home for free.
