Dear Zaire,
Our senior year of high school you decided that you wanted to go to college in Washington State. I was so happy for you knowing that you were going somewhere where you would be very happy to a school that you really liked.
The only thing that I didn't like was that one of my best friends wasn't going to be living five minutes away from me anymore.
We met in 8th grade. We sat next to each other in math class and had homeroom together. We had a weird friendship but somehow it worked out.
We were typical middle schoolers with sharing the gossip and thinking we were so cool.
Luckily we ended up at the same high school and our friendship only grew stronger.
I introduced you to my friends from when I was younger and of course we found more friends and the circle just grew.
Together freshman year we did the musical, which exhausting was so much fun! You also helped me learn how to dress better and figure out how to do my makeup (thank god for that).
For some reason our sophomore year we wanted to manage the girls lacrosse team. Do you remember why? If you do, let me know!
Our junior year we were not ready for at all! We didn't realize that it was going to be one of the hardest years of high school. On top of it we were still trying to participate in school and have jobs!
Senior year came along and on the first day we already wanted it to be over! We worked our buts off to make money. We hung out as much as we could outside of school. Even though for a while we had a fall out that sadly was my fault, we found our way back to each other before you left.

These are just a few of the many amazing memories that we have made together! You don't live close anymore and that makes me upset but I know no matter what, you will always be here for me!
We talk as much as we can and even when you aren't here we FaceTime you in!
I love you and miss you so much! I can't wait to see you again!
