Most people wake up on any given day to do their morning routine by putting on makeup and doing their hair before conquering the day, but are looks the only thing people care about? We all can think of that person whom we love so dearly for their amazing personality rather than for their physical appearance. Being attractive is not the only way you can attract other people’s attention. Personality has its way of becoming more important.

Have confidence in yourself. Walk out into the world every day, with a smile on your face because you believe in yourself in every way. People are going to notice. By allowing yourself to enjoy things that you wouldn’t necessarily consider if you always doubted yourself, you're able to do more. No matter the circumstance, if it’s about asking someone out or trying something new, if you can do things without a glimpse of regret, people are going to notice your courageous personality over anything.

Allow yourself to not be influenced by others. Having the ability to not care what other people think, because you love yourself for the way you are, will cause people to love you just as much for it. Being influenced by other people will only push you further away from your individuality, making you fit in with everyone else. If you can pull away from that, and do the things that you love because they make you happy, others will come to support you because they see that happiness. Caring about what others think about you will only make you more closed off from the outside world, and there are so many experiences to come in your lifetime. You can’t let other people’s opinions about you stop you from accomplishing it all. Rise above all the insecurities and negative comments that people tell you, that push you away from what you love, because it is your life and you should live it the way you want to.

When you can reach your goals, people will be attracted to your mission. So, do what makes you happy. Everyone has their own goals, and being able to accomplish them loud and proud no matter what people say about it is not an easy task - but you can pull it off. People will see how happy it makes you to accomplish your dreams, and it becomes that much more attractive to people to see the appeal of your happiness when you complete your ambitions.

Know how to sit down with someone in a conversation and know how to listen. These skills will attract more people than you may think. Everyone assumes that the more you talk to someone new, the greater the chance of finding things you have in common. However, there is a secret to this madness: just sit and listen. Listening to someone allows you to know more about the person without having to ask them five hundred questions about their lives. People always want someone to talk to, and if you are the person who likes to sit and listen, more people will want to talk to you. Just watch.

Attraction may allow for a conversation starter as people become drawn to your physical appearance, but as people begin to see your personality stand out, more people will be interested in you. Be confident in yourself, live life without worries, without the stress of what others think about you. Take the goals you want to accomplish, and conquer them without a glimpse of regret. Learn to sit and listen, so more people can enjoy communicating with you. Looks are just a small fraction of what you can give to the world. Its up to you to take advantage of it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
