What is beauty, really? What does it mean to be beautiful? Is there a certain description and mold you have to fit and fill?
Being beautiful means different things to different people. There is no one definition of beautiful and what it means to have beauty, but there are a few things that let your beauty shine. It is not about how many likes you get on your Instagram post, how many followers you have on Twitter, or how many numbers you may get on the weekend. Beauty is not just on the outside. It is almost like a present. For example when you receive a present or gift for something like your birthday, the outside is always wrapped really pretty sometimes so much so you question whether you want to even open it. With that being said though, the pretty outside isn't what you care about. It is what is on the inside that matters most to you in that moment. This is like life. The beauty one holds within them in the end matters more than how "pretty" their outer beauty is.
What is beauty?
Beauty is people; men and women. Beauty is nature. Beauty is all around us. It is different in everyone's eyes. Beauty is a size 2 or size 20. Beauty is long hair and short hair. Beauty is no hair because bald is beautiful. Beauty is laughing so hard your stomach hurts and smiling so big your cheeks might burst. Beauty is seeing the beauty in everyone around you. It is whatever you make it. Beauty is defined by an individual not by society. Everybody is beautiful.
What is beautiful to you?
I asked a few of my friends what beautiful meant to them and this is what they said:
"Beautiful is a combination of looks and personality. The more bubbly a person is the more their outer beauty shines."-E.N.

"Beauty can be described as a picture you can't stop looking at, a song that you can't stop listening to, or a person with an infectious personality that is just nice to look at." -D.T.
"If somebody has just looks (I mean props to them), but then they are just hot. One is beautiful because of their soul and personality." -E.N.
"Beauty can be found in the dirtiest places. I mean after all diamonds are found 'in the rough'."-A.H.
"Beauty is found in somebody's eyes I think. You can see their soul and raw emotion in them. It defines people."-M.H.
Beautiful means a lot of things and beauty is a lot of things. Just remember you were made to be who you are. Never try to be something you aren't because your true self is the most beautiful. Beauty is not about perfection because there is no perfect person; however, there is perfection in flaws. It shows your true self which at the end of the day reveals your true beauty.
