We all have opinions. It is one of the most beautiful things about being human- we get to make our own choices and own decisions, and we get to have our own outlooks and our own feelings towards anything out there. In light of recent events, however, I feel that we as humans have forgotten that many other individual's opinions will differ from our own- and that is completely okay. We must accept others' feelings and points of view if we wish to progress forward as a whole race.
I am not writing this note to justify some horrible, awful things that may have been said or done by either candidate. Politics aside, I am simply putting it out there that you have the decision to make on a personal level to be kind. Always. You get to decide what kind of vibes you give off. You get the chance to be a positive aspect in other people's lives. That alone is up to you; aside from all the political mess that might be going on in our country, you get to choose to brighten someone's day. Even if you are completely miserable, it can just take simple smile or compliment to improve someone's mood. Everyone is dealing with their own stressors, issues, feelings, etc.- and we have a job as humans to take care of each other. Support each other. Be there for each other. Love one another.
Also- here is a pug to brighten your mood, no matter how you're feeling.
