If you find yourself in need a bit of inspiration to get through your second semester, be inspired by the life and unparalleled motivation of soul surfer, Bethany Hamilton.

After recovering from a shark attack in 2003 where her left arm was gruesomely bitten off, Bethany persevered and has made a victorious return to the world of professional surfing.

Just recently, she has blown us away again by surfing Jaws, some of the largest and fiercest waves in the world.

(Not to mention it was only six months after giving birth to her first child, Tobias!)

So, with Bethany in mind, anytime I feel overwhelmed, or unmotivated, I always stick to my mantra...

"If Bethany can surf Jaws with only one arm, six months since giving birth to her first child, I can get through my second semester."
