I'm sure we've all heard the term 'time management', even more now that college is a reality. It can be difficult to balance school, work, and friends and find that perfect schedule that works best for each unique person. Here are a few tips to help you with time management.
1. Complete the most important tasks first.
Make sure you finish your most essential tasks first whether it be studying for an exam or paying a certain bill.
2. Sleep at least 7 hours every night.
This can be difficult with school and work in the way but sometimes sacrificing sleep is detrimental and can actually hurt productivity.
3. Get and early start.
Make sure you get things done right away. Procrastination is not your friend and can lead to more stress.
4. Cut down on TV, internet, and game time.
Excessive distractions can aid procrastination and prevent you from completing certain tasks. Find a balance between fun and work.
5. Take breaks.
This might sound contradictory to the last tip but make sure you take breaks between tasks so youre not wearing yourself out.
