I’m going to start a new thing that I will incorporate into a few of my articles — the Ole Miss Bachelorette of the Week. It will feature various women across the Ole Miss campus who deserve to be acknowledged and recognized for their incredible qualities. The first Bachelorette of the Week will be Claire McCraw.

Listen up, Ole Miss. Claire is sick and tired of being friendzoned (hint, hint: Sigma Chi). She needs a real man to step up to the plate. She’s tired of dating sites that never work, like Tinder and Bumble, so I offered up this idea. Claire is intelligent, sarcastic but not mean, compassionate to the people she cares about the most, and she’s someone you can take home to your family. You’ll know it’s real when Claire tags you in her favorite memes.

Hometown: Meridian, Mississippi

Major: Hospitality Management

Involvement: Delta Delta Delta fraternity. Lenoir Dining

Favorite movie: Sweet Home Alabama or The Devil Wears Prada

Favorite singer / band: I don’t really like that many bands but I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love individual singers like Riri and Beyonce.

Favorite type of music: Pop music

Favorite drink (in case you want to take her out to a bar): Deep Eddy’s Lemon and water.

Favorite shot: My favorite shot is a lemon drop. I just really like lemons.

Fun things she likes to do on the weekend: Hang out with my girlfriends, scroll through funny memes, I LOVE watching Saturday Night Live skits, and naps are really important to me in a stable relationship.

Future plans: I plan to find a boyfriend from this article and go from there. Just kidding! After I graduate in May, I plan on spending my summer working abroad in Florence with some of my closest friends from Ole miss. I studied abroad last summer and it was probably the greatest experience of my life. I can’t wait to go back.

Something Claire wants people to know: I love Kanye and I love my little chihuahua, Papí.

Things she does in her free time: I LOVE to kiss cam people when I’m out. I especially love being kiss cammed (if you don’t know what that is, your eligibility will be in question).
