Where are you from? Bettendorf, IA
What year are you? Sophomore
What are you studying? Finance and Accounting
What fraternity are you in? Phi Delta Theta
What are your interests?
I’m an avid fan of DC’s burger baskets and Blackhawks games. Also, I picked up ukulele last spring, so I’ve been trying to learn how to play. I try to stay as involved as possible on campus and want to find new hobbies, so catch me at the next University of Iowa Gardeners Club meeting.
Favorite music?
Anything by Skizzy Mars or my fellow Phi Delt, Matt Nolan (listen to his new single).
Most embarrassing story?
As I was just focused on my computer screen during lecture, struggling to recall an embarrassing story for this article, I didn’t realize my professor had begun to wander away from his lectern and into the lecture hall. He then stood behind me and called me out in a class of well over 200 students. I just froze, turned red and kissed my hopes of blending in with the class, goodbye.
Celeb crush?
Katy Perry or Alex Morgan.
What qualities are you looking for in a girl?
I like girls who are intelligent, well-spoken and genuine. Everyone is so wrapped up in technology that meaningful, face-to-face conversations are hard to come by. Also, I appreciate a girl who laughs at my jokes even though they aren’t funny. I’m a proud mama’s boy, so if a girl can win my mom over, they’re off to a great start.
Have you ever been in love? If not, why? If so, tell us your love story!
I don’t think I’ve ever been in love. I’m still waiting on the one.
Perfect date?
That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket. Anyone can “Netflix and chill,” but I think going outside to the PDT balcony for a candle lit dinner, string quartet and the Iowa City sunset over the Iowa River would be tough to beat.
Where are you most likely to be during the week? The Pappajohn Business Building
Any advice for interested women?
I am entirely oblivious to social cues. If you’re interested, being straightforward is definitely better than playing “hard to get.”
