From the day that I found out about you, I was so excited that I was going to be a big sister. When you were born, I looked at you and could never imagine anything more perfect in the world, and I couldn’t be more blessed to be your older sister. You've brought me so much joy in the years since you were born, you keep me pushing every day to become a better person.
I watched you grow, and change and learn. You’ve become such a smart girl throughout the years and just know that I couldn’t be more proud. Watching you grow up was amazing, but it is also hard. The world gets tough and although I want nothing more than to protect you, I only see you keep getting stronger on your own. I know things aren't always easy, and things aren't always ideal but you're doing amazing. As you grow up it's hard for me because I only want to protect you, but I know, like the rest of us, that the only way you'll learn is if you experience life by yourself.
As you grow up, please be careful. No one can protect you from the hurt that this world brings onto everyone, but I will try my best to shield you from it. I hope that as you grow up, you only keep the goodness in your heart that I see shine through you every day. I hope that you stay selfless and never let anyone break you of your morals, no matter how badly someone wants to try to break you down. Always love mom and dad and the rest of the family, and just know that know no matter what happens we are always here for you and we love you very much. Take pictures, make memories with your friends, make mistakes and learn from them. Go to prom, it's not the best night of your life, but it definitely will be something to remember. You're beautiful, you're strong and you're capable of anything, spread your wings and fly little one.
