Sometimes I just cannot believe how much love the human heart has the capacity to give and receive. I did not know it was possible to love so much until my cousin brought my two little cousins into this world. From the moment my cousin had her first son, I was completely and utter in love with him. Then my heart filled with even more love when baby number two, a little girl, was born. To the two people I love more than anything in the world, this is what I want you to know as you grow up.
You are so loved.
You two are loved more than you can even imagine. You have a whole army of people behind you that love and care about you two. I cannot speak for everyone, but for myself personally, my heart is filled to the brim with unending love for you both. There is nothing you can do or say that will ever make me love you less.
Never give up on your dreams.
No dream is too big or too small for you two. I already know that you will do big things in life, so I never ever want you to stop dreaming or ever give up on your dreams. Dreams are what keep us going, so never stop. Once you achieve one dream, think of the next one and the one after that. There is nothing you cannot do.
You are perfect just the way you are.
As you grow up, you will face harsh judgment and criticism. But guess what? The only opinion that matters is your own. I am not just saying this because I love you like crazy, but you are perfect just the way you are. There is not a single thing that you need to change about yourselves no matter what anyone says.
You are worthy.
You are worthy. I want that to sink into your brains. You are worthy in all aspects of your life whether that be a job, a relationship (in the very very very distant future of course), a new opportunity or whatever else you can think of. You are worthy.
You are more than your mistakes.
We all make mistakes. You two will make mistakes, and that is totally ok. Mistakes help us grow. Mistakes shape us into the person we are meant to become. No matter what anyone tells you, you will always be more than the mistakes you make. Just make sure to dust yourself off and learn from every mistake that you make.
You deserve only the best.
I never want you two to settle. You deserve only the best in your lives, so do not be complacent. If you work hard, you can achieve and obtain anything you want in this world.
You will always have me.
No matter where life takes you, your RaRa will always be there for you. I will be there for it all. I love you so much that I would drop everything and anything if you needed me. When you need me, I will be there in a heartbeat.
