But of course, class and homework comes first, so please don't absorb too much entertainment. All of the suggestions under here are Asian dramas and movies, and most of them could be found with subtitles on the Internet. Perhaps, if you are curious and dedicated enough, you may be able to successfully watch all of them.
1. Legend of MiYue (China):

2. Come Back, Mister! (Korea):
This 16-episode television drama just recently aired can be found on video streaming sites. The plot tells of two middle-aged men who died and are reborn into different bodies. One, Kim Soon Young, is given the body of an attractive young man, and the other, Han Gi Tak, is given the body of a beautiful young woman. Their reasoning to be reborn, rather than go to heaven, is because of their loved ones. This show has a mixture of romance, comedy, and drama. The show knows when to balance out these genres, so you get a good mixture of all three in most episodes.
3. The Piper (Korea):

"The Piper" is exactly what you Grimm Brother fans would like. In addition to having the classic fairy tale spin, it also tells the tale of a father and son who were on their way to Seoul. Set after the Korean War two characters find themselves in a remote village where something was not quite right. Villagers of the show are dressed in outdated clothing and still thought that the war was still going on. Despite the strangeness a father decides to stay and help resolve the village's rat problem in exchange for money. Though there is lightheartedness sprinkled throughout the film, the movie's ending was just as morbid as the story it was based off of.
4. Painted Skin (China):

5. Mulan (China):

This gem aired in 2009 and it only gained some traction after Disney announced a possible plan to make a live action "Mulan." What nobody knows is that such a movie cannot be compared to the Disney version because these two movies are two entirely different things. The movie is every bit of a re-telling of the Ballad of Mulan as it is a movie about filial piety, something the Disney movie is not. Many critics believed that the Ballad of Mulan was not about feminism, but to everyone the character of Mulan is in every way a classic example of a female war hero. Regardless of whether or not you agree, this version's Mulan is as heroic as the Disney version.
6. Death Bell (Korea):

I love "Battle Royale"-esque movies, and "Death Bell" was the best one I saw in recent years. The movie's premise centered on a class that was locked in their high school building and every time they could not answer an exam question in the allotted time a classmate died. This movie had a suspenseful, scary, and adrenaline rushing pace with a decent twist. "Death Bell" does have ghosts that serve as more of a backdrop character. There is gore in it and surprisingly it's not over the top. At the same time movies like "Death Bell" shows the dark side to high school exams and how it affects both the students and the adults.
7. Tomie (Japan):

This last movie is actually a part of a series under the main title of "Tomie." Each movie is centered upon a extraordinarily beautiful girl named Tomie, who is the personification of lust, envy, and greed. In each film, those that interact with Tomie are driven to suicide in an attempt to make Tomie their own. However, it is shown that Tomie is an immortal being who can be reborn as long as some part of her still remains intact. In these movies there are several different Tomies played by different actresses. The movie is both scary, horrifying, gory, and strange. Try giving the manga a read, as it is what the movie is based on.
