20 year old Sammy Wilkinson from Omaha, Nebraska is storming the music scene this summer, and rapidly climbing charts. As if he wasn't already mega attractive, the young reggae singer with catchy tunes like: "Aye Ma," "Chase The Day," and "Waterfall," has managed to earn himself a huge social media following. Beginning his days on social media sharing app Vine to releasing his own full-length albums, Sammy has earned himself the first slot as Artist of the Week!
Vine superstar from Omaha, Nebraska starting in 2013 now rocks stages nationwide with his debut album Ready For War and audiences everywhere are loving it! Posting his first vine in March 2013 and earning himself well over 200,000 followers in just a few short months, and touring alongside other vine stars like Jack & Jack, Skate Maloley, and Shawn Mendes on the Magcon tour in 2014. Sammy Wilk hasn't stopped impressing young adults everywhere!
Following all of his fast success, Sammy teamed up with friend Skate Maloley and formed duo Sammy & Skate, releasing multiple singles and features on songs like DJ Rupp's "Where Art Thou," and Ty Alaxandar's "Signs," building the foundations to what would later be his music career. Girls adoring his sound, and his incredibly good looks, there was no stopping him now!
After his hip-hop duo with Skate dwindled down, Sammy worked primarily on advertisements for the clothing brand MUDD with friends Jack & Jack and Alli Simpson! Later releasing his first two singles, "Aye Ma," and "Could Be," beginning his journey to his reggae-pop sound he has now! Drawing lots of his inspiration from Bob Marley, and choosing to vibe with the world around him, Sammy has shown he loves to live his life adventuring and seeing what the world has to offer him.
As 2016 started to grow closer to those warm summer nights, so did the much anticipated release of Sammy's first album, Ready For War, with beats that are sure to keep you dancing, and a chilled out vibe that will pull you away to paradise. With lyrics like, "live by the saying, no one can change what the universe says to you," and "I'll never stop chasing these dreams 'til I'm done runnin'," Sammy just shows he's not done growing and he's ready for what's next!
