You can love someone or something without actually being in love, but being in love is the inseparable connection. It’s impossible to cut the strings the hearts have strung. It's giving someone the power to break you in unimaginable ways and trusting them not too. It's being attracted to everything they do.

It's falling in love with the way their dimples show while trying not to smile. The way they look at you while you’re talking, letting your guard down, the way your heart races when they say your name. How they drink, how they eat, the way water drips down their chin because you made them laugh before they got the chance to swallow. It’s their sleepy voices on Skype, it’s still getting butterflies every time they look at you like the first time you saw them, the way their hand fits perfectly with yours, and the way you feel so safe and secure.

Being in love is when they still have your heart even after they've betrayed you. Being in love is when they make a mistake and you still want to be with them. Being in love is you wanting to put in effort because this is who you want to be with, who you’re willing to do anything for. Being in love is something more than the way they look. It's loving every ounce of somebody, from their insecurities, their mess ups, every tear they cause, every smile they bring and every butterfly they give.

Love is more than sex it’s having that emotional connection because that’s stronger than a physical connection could ever be. Love takes hours to build and seconds to disappear.
