We all know them. We've all seen them in action. The guy who can't help but be creepy. You ask him to back off but, it does no good. You walk away and he follows you. They're all one in the same no matter which one of these four they fall under.
The Loner Bar Rat -
You've seen him before at the very same bar, alone. In fact, you've probably seen him every time you've gone to that bar because that's the only place he likes to go. The loner bar rat is a creepy guy because once he unsuccessfully tries to pick you up, he'll move onto any fresh meat at the bar. He's there so often that he knows who's new and an easy target to hit on. Now we can't say that all bar rats are creepy. For example, think about the HIMYM crew that frequent MacLaren's every episode. But, if he's alone every time you see him, that's probably a sign to stay away.
Mr. Steal Your DMs -
If you haven't met before and he direct messages you, STAY AWAY. This creepy guy loves to spend his time internet stalking susceptible girls and sending them flirty messages. You might only have one mutual friend, but that won't stop him! He's the creepy tinder guy of Facebook and won't stop sending you "hey" until you finally answer him. Just block him already!
Study Group Sam -
Worried about your finals on the first day of class? Don't worry! Study Group Sam will be the first to ask for your number to "arrange a study group." This might sound like a nifty idea, but be warned, his texts might lean more towards "What's up" and "What're you doing tonight?" then, actual intentions of getting together to study.
He Was Into Your Friend Last Week -
This creepy guy doesn't care about you, he just cares about (excuse me for being blunt) "getting some." You watched him hit on your friend last week at a party, or maybe even tonight, and now, after being blown off, he's decided to take a liking to you. His indecisiveness is an act of desperation and he'll circle around your friend group in hopes that someone will finally take his bait.
