Have an Apple Watch or interested in purchasing one? I have had my watch for over two months and I am very acclimated to it and can honestly say it is one of the best purchases.

The transition from being on my phone to using my watch has been a huge change and I really enjoy it. I am one who constantly texts and whose face is usually drowning in my screen. I find myself checking my phone when there is not a notification or just surfing the web.

There is a lot of learning the watch comes with and if you are skeptical about investing on an Apple Watch, I suggest doing your research to make sure the watch is for you.

1. Ask Siri

When in doubt, use Siri. Siri is able to look up information and can customize almost anything. It is convenient to answer a call from the comfort of my wrist. Literally, "hands-free." I do not have to worry about germs touching my face.

Who doesn't love that point during flu season? You can also use speech to text dictation or customized phrases you often say during a conversation for that person on-the-go.

2. Find my iPhone

Have you actually ever lost your phone and it is under your books or lost in your bag? Luckily, you are able to ping a message to your iPhone in order to find it. I find this to be one of its best features!

I constantly only use my watch, but when I want to charge it, I have to use my phone and cannot remember where I put it.

3. GPS

Are you unable to focus on your iPhone when you are in need of directions? Well, the Apple Watch nudges you into the right direction. This feature is favored by me and many of my friends.

We all have places to go and people we want to see. The watch puts you in the right direction without some loud, obnoxious voice in the background distorting my music.

4. Music

You can control music from your watch. Let's say you are driving and want to change the song. You can simply tell Siri "Next!" and the next song will play.

Again, hands-free technology at its finest. If you have a Bluetooth speaker, you can do the same thing. The watch is waterproof so you can take it into the water, change the music, and be the life of the party.

5. Order and pay

From your watch, you are able to order food and pay at the store. Most places accept Apple Pay. I use certain apps that coincide with rewards such as Starbucks; I load money and use my watch to show my card and pay.

Another way I can use my watch instead of bringing my wallet when I am on the go is at Chipotle. Sometimes I am in a rush or I do not want to carry a bag or simply do not want to open my wallet if I feel uncomfortable. I can simply use my watch. Touch-free ability to order and pay for merchandise and/or food.

I am a big fan of the Apple Watch. As I learn, there are countless things you can do with the Apple Watch. My advice is to get to know the watch as much as possible so you can get the most out of it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
