Ever since Steve Jobs died, Apple has only been moving downhill.
Why is it that after he passed, the company hasn't been able to carry out his legacy of creativity and innovation?
Apple is moving down a very slippery slope and sooner or later, people will have no choice but to move to Android. Apple's new products lack innovative features and the updates (like iOS 11) have been nothing but glitch after glitch. Loyal customers all over the world are disappointed with the company's lack of dedication to greatness. Apple has been a huge player in the technology business for over a decade since the release of the first iPhone and they just aren't living up to expectations anymore.
They're first mistake was making the iPhone 6 so much bigger than the 5. People were very disappointed with the size increase because it made the phone more inconvenient to carry around and harder to hold for people with small hands. After a couple months, people became accustomed to the size and even appreciated the plus versions of each model.
After this, they continued making innovations that didn't actually improve the phone but just made it seem more high-tech. The iPhone 7 featured some pretty great improvements like better camera quality and water resistance but it also included some extremely unnecessary features like wireless earphones and the disappearance of the headphone jack. First of all, I understand the appeal of wireless earphones but they are so tiny and easy to lose, if anything in my opinion, they're less convenient. Apple also got a whole lot of backlash for releasing a phone where the charging port doubled as a headphone jack. How are we supposed to listen to music and charge our phones at the same time? This was an extremely silly update and I'm sure most people would agree.
Luckily, the iPhone 8 and X have been getting a pretty good rep except for the fact that the iPhone X is all glass. Considering that most people have had a shattered screen at least once in their phone-owning lifetime, now they'll have a whole shattered phone instead.
The hot topic right now is the iOS 11 glitch. Apple purposely programs bugs in our products in order to force us to update or buy a new device entirely. We all know this and it's something that has always been a sales tactic but ever since Jobs died, Apple can't figure out how to make a subtle glitch. They give us glitches that ruin the battery life, the speed at which the phone works, and the features offered on the phone, taking the whole phone down with it. If they don't figure out this bug situation soon, they run the risk of losing loyal customers.
APPLE, PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER.
Sidenote: R.I.P. Steve Jobs, we miss you dearly and hope you're haunting the people who are ruining your legacy!!!!
