It seems to be that no one is ever capable of saying what he or she really wants. The typical answers are "IDK,” or “Sure that’s fine,” or even “Yeah I’m totally cool with that.” It is absolute bullshit that girls are afraid to say what they genuinely feel.
…and since they don’t, guys will continue to do whatever it is they want because you haven’t required them to say they want anything.
...because most of the time when girls do say what they feel, they get ripped apart for being too forward, too ‘clingy’, too demanding or simply too needy.

It is absolutely insane to regret saying how you genuinely feel because it grants us the warmth of some male figure in our life.
What seems to slip people's minds is that no one is worth this half-ass ‘relationship’ if it means denying you of what you really deserve. I am not saying a guy needs to praise the ground you walk on, but he should be doing anything he can to ensure your happiness before his. Meaning, he’ll do what it takes not to lose you. Even if that means committing. Yes, I said it, the "C" word: commitment.
Now let me tell you, fear of commitment is a thing. Yes, it’s not total bullshit. But, if the guy is genuinely into you, and wants to keep you around, he will do what he can to eliminate that fear. If he is not, then he simply doesn’t feel it or he wants to have his cake and eat it too. (Yes, meaning you and the other fish in the sea).
So, what do you do?
You say no.

You tell him you aren’t okay with this half-ass bullshit of “I want to see you, take you out,” “I miss you"—"but I don’t want to date" nonsense.
I promise you that you aren’t okay with it as much as you’re telling him you are just to keep him in your life to hold on in any way you can.

And this guy that you are going to say no to, will respect you much, much more for not tolerating his shit like the rest have. I’m not saying that’s automatically going to change his mind or flip a switch on his feelings, but he will take note that he can’t get away with his actions, and that you are one girl who he can not f*ck with.
