Every semester, in the majority of my classes, there's that one brave student who creates the class GroupMe (even though they're technically against school policy). We get that Canvas notification that another student messaged us, we join the GroupMe, and wait for the countless messages to come on in.
While class GroupMe's can save your life (needing someone to sign you in for attendance or giving you a recap of important announcements), they can also be incredibly annoying.
Here are some common examples of stupid comments I've seen throughout the three years I've been here at Florida State.
"When's the test?"
Check. The. Syllabus.
"We have a test this week?"
Do yourself a favor and just drop out now.
*After class is over* "Did he/she take attendance today?"
I mean, does it really matter now?
*Teacher posts notes online* "Can someone send me the notes today?"
... But, they're literally online? And they've been online since the first day of school?
*Teacher explains in-depth how to do the assignment* "How do you do the assignment?"
Sorry, not sorry but... If you can't help yourself, I'm not helping you.
