10 Reasons Everyone Needs A Cat
Briget Sarah

I've had my cat for about five and a half years now. I have truly seen such a difference in how I've changed as a person and how I love animals. Finn has been by my side for when I need a good laugh, or when I'm sad about something and just need something to snuggle with. It also helps that he's adorable in every way.

Having a little animal worship you, be happy to see you when you get home, and love you unconditionally are such great feelings. Finn has opened my eyes to unconditional love and how I look at pets. He is more than "just a cat" to me; he's my first baby and truly a companion that will never hurt me.

So, here are 10 reasons why I think everyone needs a cat at least some point in their lives. There is so much to learn and experience when having a cat in your life.

1. You'll always have a sleeping buddy.

My cat waits for me to come home to go to sleep, and sleeps with me almost every night.

2. All cats are soft!

Who doesn't want a soft, little fur baby following you around and laying around with you all day?

3. They're just as lazy as we are!

Cats spend most of the day sleeping, so they don"t require much movement in order to be around them.

4. They're LOW maintenance animals.

Cats don't require too much work; just a litter box change a few times a week and making sure they always have food and water.

5. You'll know when they're truly happy.

Cats can't control when they purr (that vibrating noise they make), so if they do it around you, they're truly happy to be around you!

6. Sometimes, you can dress them up!

My cat isn't a fan, but some cats like being dressed up! They look super cute, too!

7. Cats are sassy.

My cat is just as sassy as I am, which means there is never a dull moment.

8. Some cats aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

My cat, Finn, isn't always the smartest. So, that keeps me pretty entertained at times.

9. Cats are always around.

They are always there.

10. They teach you unconditional love.

Finn has taught me unconditional love since I got him, and I can't wait to see him grow with me and eventually with my kids.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
