Annnnnd we're back. Summer is over and students from all over are flooding back to Corvallis. Whether you're an incoming freshman hoping to live out the song "I Love College" or a sixth year senior promising your parents that this will be your final year here, I hope that you are all as excited as I am to be in Corvo. Sure classes start soon and I still can't remember half of what I signed up for, plus dropping hard-earned summer job money at the bookstore is going to be painful, but none of that matters to me. I love it here. I don't know about you but I have a great feeling about what this year will entail for myself and for all of Beaver Nation. With that being said, enjoy your syllabus week (Freshmen: Read the description of syllabus week provided below) and Go Beavs.

*Syllabus Week: This title is usually given to Week 1 of any given term. It is basically the same as every other week (you go to class, there's a lecture, reading is assigned) except that the instructor spends a mere two minutes describing the class you're paying thousands of dollars for. It's mainly used as an excuse to go out and have fun on a Tuesday night when you have a 8 am Bio lecture in the morning... Which is not to say that an excuse is ever needed to do so here in Corvallis.
