There are people in your life who’s best interest is to look out for you. Whether you believe in God or not, you have to have faith in someone, whether it’s yourself or someone/something else.
Dear Person,
Thank you for never letting me lose my faith. You know how much it means to me when you remind me that I am doing some kind of good in this world. You know how much it means to me when you remind me that God has a plan for my life. Thank you.
You make me talk about the things I just want to keep in because you know if I hold it in, I’m going to burst, and you don’t ever want to see me like that. You make sure I talk everything out so that I don’t get too stressed out. You always pick me up when I fall down. Whether it’s a bad test grade or a bad day, you’re there to lift my spirits and make me smile. Thank you for reminding me that I am good enough. Thank you for reminding me that I am strong enough.
You always have my back, even when I procrastinated my work until the last minute and I’m complaining about how hard it is. You remind me that I can do it. You are constantly supporting me and I think that’s what helps me get through some of my bad days. You understand that I am insecure with myself and you are trying your hardest to make that insecurity go away.
You support me when I have crazy ideas and you steer me away from the not-so-great ideas too. You look out for me and stop me from doing things that are not in my best interest to do. Your main goal in our friendship is to make sure that I am happy. I hope you know that that is my main goal too, to make sure you are happy. You tell me not to sacrifice my own happiness for other people’s happiness because sometimes it is not worth it. You remind me that I need to take care of myself first sometimes and that it is okay to do so.
You keep reminding me to keep my faith because you know how much my faith means to me. Every once in awhile, I need that nudge from you to remember that God has my back too. You tell me that He has a plan for me. During my rough days, when something good happens, you remind me that that is God telling me that He knows I have been working hard these past few days and He is making sure that I have something to look forward too.
I don’t need something to look forward to when I have you. Each day is a blessing because you are by my side. Even though I’m crazy and emotional, you have stuck by my side and I wouldn’t change that for the world. I don’t need rewards and compliments, I only need your friendship and love.
I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do for me and for all that you say. You are a blessing and you are my sunshine. You brighten up my life and the lives of everyone around you.
