Dear Weirdest Friend,
First of all, please know that I love you; I'm not writing this to mock you but to let you know how much I value you and your individuality. Being around you is always fun, and it's always an adventure. You never fail to make me laugh or smile. On my worst days when school, boys and stress are all getting to me, you can come in and do your demon walk and have me laughing so hard my sides hurt in five seconds flat.
What's more is that you're always optimistic. When things are not going so well, you're optimism and sun-shiny attitude help liven me up to go take on the world. I mean sure, sometimes your humor can get a little dark, but there's always that glimmer of hope that makes everything better.
Your weirdness brings out my weirdness. That's probably one of my favorite things about you. You're so you and so completely focused on living your own life and being the best version of you that you don't really pay attention to what others are doing. Seeing and hearing someone be unapologetically themselves inspires me to do the same. Whether it's not showering before a football game, or staying up late to watch "Shrek the Musical," you march to the beat of your own drum.
Coming to college and being thrust into a new environment (especially one that's far from home) can intimidate anyone, but you made plans to take over the school, find a husband and get married all in a few weeks time. Your drive and ambitions help make me unafraid to dream big, to take everything in stride and just keep moving forward.
So, my Weirdest Friend, you are unconventional and sometimes a bit all over the place, but you're you and you're human and perfect. So you continue to be a star and take the world by storm, I may not always be right beside you (I'm not quite as glamurous as you), but I'll for sure be in the audience cheering you on.
Love,
Your Biggest Fan
