To the greatest roommate I could ever have,
Also known as my best friend, mom, my gym buddy or alarm clock ... I don't know what I would do without you. We have made so many memories together and I have told you endless secrets that I have not told anyone else. You have transformed my imaginary abs into a laughter six pack and you keep me on my toes, just like I keep you on yours.
Thank you for pulling me out of the house when I don't want to go out, simply because no one looks back and remembers how much sleep they got. It is always an adventure with you, no matter if we are out partying or if we are driving around because we are bored.
Thank you for being there for me when I fall down and I have a hard time getting back up. At some point in the year, everyone has a breaking point, whether it be a failing grade, a loss of a loved one or the seemingly unavoidable relationship troubles. No matter what is going on, I know that you always are there when I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to eat a tub of ice cream with me.
Thank you for not being ashamed of me. I know especially when we go out in public, my dance moves aren't the best. Yet, you still dance with me and make sure I get home in one piece. You make sure that when I look like a fool, I'm not alone.
Thank you for becoming my best friend and not getting tired of me. I know I am a lot to handle some times, but you never leave (or at least you haven't yet). I’m sorry for every time I have gotten on your nerves and yet you continue to love me anyway. There is no one else I would rather share food, blankets, and my Netflix account with.
Thank you for not judging me. As roommates, we see the good, the bad and the very ugly; however you accept me when I dress like a homeless person and when I pretend that my outfit is on point. You are always there to give that much-needed opinion on whether or not my clothes really match and that my makeup doesn’t look like it was put on in the dark.
Thank you for bringing so much happiness and joy into my life. Living with people that know how to make you laugh makes all the bad times worth it. Thank you for taking the most unflattering pictures with me, but knowing that they stay between us.
I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful memories we've already made together, and am beyond excited for the all the late night laughing sessions, lunch time gossip convos, dressing-up fiascos, wine nights, and 3 hour study breaks that are to come.
I love you to the moon and back
Love,
Crazy Roommate
