To the best of friends and coworkers, this one is for you.
I am so sad to be leaving after such a great summer working with all of you. I can't begin to recall all of the fun times we have had together while working. A job is just a job, the people around you every day are the ones who make it so special. And, I couldn't have gotten luckier with the people I was blessed to be surrounded by.
There is so much I need to thank you for, all the times we have vented to each other and shared things the other probably didn't need to know and we told them anyway. There is no line to cross when we all become as one and work as a team. So thank you for creating such a safe and inviting place to want to work in. I also think I should thank you for being understanding when something is going on in my life and truly caring what happens to me.
Thank you for being involved and having common goals and interests. Thank you for all the times of support and encouragement when starting this job and helping me along the way. I love the fact that coming into this job I expected to go to work and then go home. But now I know that I got so much luckier than I expected and am bidding you all farewell knowing I made such true and genuine friends along the way.
While I have never been shy, I truly believe this job has encouraged me to come out of my shell more and challenge myself even more. I have all of you to thank for that. Thank you for giving me endless nights of laughter and stories to cherish with me as we go our separate ways.
Thank you for gossiping with me about everything and listening to me complain about everything as well. Thank you for showing how much fun it is to be on such a fun team and how cool it is to work so smoothly together. Thank you for learning about me and letting me learn about you.
Thank you for being annoyed at the same things as me or not liking the same person, also thank you for having enough patience for the both of us, when mine was running very low. Thank you for wanting to help with bad situations instead of watching me struggle through it.
I am leaving to go back to school soon, and I am so excited to be back in my favorite place. I wish I could take you all with me. Unfortunately, I don't think I could have you all in my dorm room at the same time. I will be back to visit you all and I promise to be back to work as soon as I can! Thank you so much for being more than expected and the best coworkers I could have ever wished for.
I love you all!
Your sad, seasonal employee
