To my dearest darlings,
If you are reading this that means that my dreams have come true and I have been blessed by your pure existence. I wish there was a way for me to express how much I love you but I can't seem to find something great enough. It is hard for me to imagine having children right now for I'm only allowed to dream what you may be like, guess what your personality may entail, and wonder about all of the memories we will make. Although I still have not met you there is a couple of things I want you to know.
I will love you unconditionally.
You may not completely understand what "unconditionally" means but I'll clue you in. You can do no wrong or say no wrong that will change my love for you. You can push me away as hard as you can but, I will still love you. You can kick and scream and tell me you hate me but, I will still love you and that my dear will never change.
Stay true to who you are.
In the modern world many people think we as humans are forced to act a certain way and conform into what society wants for us. I'm here to tell you that no matter who or what comes along stay true to the beautiful person your father and I raised you to be. If you must change yourself to earn your spot in a group than that is not the right fit for you, trust me it is better to figure this out sooner than later.
I will always be here for you.
I'm not going to sugarcoat things for you, life is tough, it likes to beat you up and throw you down to the ground. When you find yourself lying in the dirt with no will I will be there to pick you up, cradle you in my arms, and tell you everything will be ok. At times it will seem like there is no light at the end of the tunnel but I promise I will be right here to turn the light back on for you, for I will not let you fall.
Stay true to your faith.
Fortunately your mother grew up catholic so that means you will all grow up catholic. It may seem tedious, you may not agree with some of the things you will be taught to do, and you will moan and groan once and a while at the thought of going to church. Trust me one day your faith will come in handy as you will learn that God is the one who ultimately guides us down our path to life. You will find out that he will be the rock that lays in your foundation and keeps you grounded.
Don't forget where you belong.
As you grow up you will begin to branch out and plant your own seeds of life elsewhere far away from the tree that brought you up. You will make a life for yourself and have your own family. I want you to remember that no matter how far you may go that you will always have a special place right here back at home.
