I hope you know how much of an impact you have had on my life. Being the youngest in my family always left me wishing I had younger brothers or sisters. You have made that possible for me. I have never met a more incredible family—one so loving that let me into their life with open arms and no hesitation.

You let me share my life with you, from school to relationships you always listen to what I have to say and I hope that my experiences can help you. I hope that in some way I can be the role model I’ve always wanted to be for you. I hope that I can be someone that you look up to and go to things for. Whether it is advice, you need me to pick you up from the skate park or friends, you want to go lunch or go walking around the mall, I hope you know you can always count on me.

I thought that being away from your older brother while I was away at school would be hard, and it is, but I hope you know that it has been just as hard being away from you. I miss all the days we could spend together just hanging out during the week. Getting to hear about your days and the things you were doing or had planned. You made me feel like a part of your life right from the start, and even though I have moved away you still make me feel like I can be right there with you. (Mostly because I can always count on your mom to post at least 50 pictures of each event.) I hope you get as excited to see me as I get to see you. You have truly changed me into a different and better person.

You make me overjoyed with the amazing things you accomplish. It could be school, softball, soccer, swim, reading a new book or learning a new trick with your scooter, and I will still be excited every time. You make me laugh when you guys fight about the most ridiculous things. Like really, you guys get creative with the things you argue about. I hope you know that although I hate seeing you guys fight, it is usually pretty entertaining.

And yes, you’re even annoying sometimes, like any good little brother or sister would be. Whether it's because you’ve been attached at my hip all day, or have been rolling your eyes at me all day, just know that I still love you even if I tell you to go away.

We have shared countless laughs and have accumulated several inside jokes that I will hold with me for years to come. I can’t wait to watch you grow up and see all the amazing things that you’re going to accomplish. You’re going to have good times and bad times, but I hope you know that no matter what, I will be there by your side to help you through and cheer you on.
