Dear Evangelicals,
Hi, my name is Xander and I just wanted to let you know that when you spew your hatred and use either God or Jesus Christ to back up your thoughts, you're making Christians who actually understand what it means to be a true Christian, look bad.
Now before you start giving me shit about that first statement, let me educate you on a few things. First off, I have read the Bible, and I know it gets misinterpreted. But when you have to use it to support your argument of being a negative bigot, you automatically just lost. I don't care what your religion says about the stuff I do for a living, and I am pretty sure everyone else who doesn't follow your faith gives a damn! For example, when someone does something that they feel that they're proud of and accomplished that, it does not mean you have the right to be a royal jackass and tell them that "God wouldn't like that." You know what, I know God, and God will let me know if there is a problem. Mind your own business and get a hobby!
Second, your religion is not THE ONLY RELIGION! You see, the world is made up of different people. Different people who have a different belief system and different morals that don't follow with what you believe. And that's OK! That's how the world functions. I myself am Buddhist, which is more of a philosophy than a religion. I also believe in the theory of Evolution, a topic that most of you claim that is false, but yet scientific evidence proves it happened.
What I find irritating is that I can't be free to believe what I believe in without one of your people telling me that "Buddhism is satanic" and that "I am going to hell." That's rude and insensitive! That's the same as me calling you a "stupid bible thumper," or "a con artist who only uses the Bible to rip-off vulnerable people.” Now, you're entitled to your opinion and that's fine, but I don't care to hear your negative thoughts. So please go away."
Third, God is not a he or a she! God is an entity, a higher power that many religions believe in. God is NOT exclusive to your religion! So please just knock it off.
And lastly, the world is full of people who are different. Some are gay, lesbian or transgendered. They deserve the rights that all of us have. For you to judge them for being themselves is disgusting and mean!
In closing, as I said before, the world is full of different people, why can't you accept it and move along, instead of being mean-spirited and hateful? Try being more Christ-like. You know, that fellow your religion is named after? What would he do? I can guarantee you he wouldn’t be intolerant, bigoted and judgmental. Try reading the Sermon on the Mount. Maybe actually open the NEW Testament. Do what Jesus told us to do.
Karma works in mysterious ways.
Xander
