To everyone who believes in me, thank you. Thank you to the moon and back. Thank you for your countless time spent on improving me and helping create me to be who I am today. Your belief and understanding of who I am and my uniqueness truly helped create my character and the virtues that I hold near and dear to my heart. Thank you for being there for all of my awkward stages in life. For being there through the good and bad times. For being there for all of the little moments which I treasure dear in my heart. And for all of the times that you will be there.. thank you. I know that at times it can be hard to believe in someone or something but your belief in me is what keeps me going and keeps me doing what I am doing.
To My Parents, Mom and Dad: You will never truly know how much that you two really do mean to me. I know that at times I don’t exactly show it enough, but know that I love you both very much so. I’m just a teen, so showing emotion can be a bit awkward at times, especially lovey dovey emotion, but I love you guys forever, for always, and no matter what. I cannot thank you enough for the countless sacrifices that you both have made to bring me into this world and to help me move forward in it. I don’t know where I would be today without either one of you.
To My Grandfather: Your belief in me and your constant love and support for me goes further than you know. Telling me that I’m cool, “Mr. Cool,” I never get tired of hearing it and it makes me proud to call you my role model and grandfather. Saying how much of a great kid that I am really makes me want to go out and do great things, more great things, to make you even more proud. I’m not going to let you down.
To My Family, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Extended Family and Sibling: I love each and every one of you and there’s a whole lot of you. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I think that quote really is true for how I grew up in this family and how each and every one of you has played such a significant role in my life and has groomed me to be the person I am today. There is already a lifetime of memories with all of you that I hope keeps growing. I believe in each and every one of you that each of you can accomplish a great number of amazing and incredible tasks. Even if you don’t always get the recognition you deserve, I am incredibly proud of you all and all that you have become whether you realize it or not. I’ll always be that kid that kicked you in the shins or shoved my smelly blanket in your face, even though I’ve had to grow up a little.
To My Friends: I am forever thankful for the memories that we all have shared together and the times that we have spent and the times that we will have spent. Some memories are good, others not so much, but even the bad times will wake me up to all of the good times. We've all adventured out of our comfort zones and done some incredibly stupid things that were so well worth it. Being young and dumb is what being young is all about. I thank you for being there for me in my many times of need. I thank you for not abandoning me when I needed you the most and for caring and protecting me even if it was inconvenient for you.
To My Teachers: What you have all taught me both in and out of the classroom has really shaped my beliefs in both my world around me and in myself. It has shown me the way to be who I am and to be that well.
Everyone has someone to thank for getting them to where they are now at this very moment in time. Even if it is one person or a million persons, take the time out of your day to show a little appreciation for them. A little appreciation can go a long way. Everyone in your life and everyone who has moved out of your life was in it for a reason. Even if they were in it for a reason, a season, or a lifetime, give thanks for what they have taught you and for what they will continue to teach you because you never know when you’ll need them again.
